As a young attorney, Kyra thought she had it all – a good job, a loving husband, and a bright future. Just as she’s being assigned the biggest case of her professional life, her personal life takes a dramatic turn. After her husband Ryan convinces her to have a baby, their lives are upended and complicated by a diagnosis of a genetic disorder in their beautiful baby girl. To make matters worse, they discover a family secret that threatens to disrupt their lives further.

Ryan adores his job teaching third grade; the children keep him laughing and grounded as his personal life takes twists and turns that leave him emotionally raw.
